In a bizarre crossover event that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "A strange meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and terrifying changes reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.

The questline focuses on "peculiar trials and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
