I'll dominate 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
